The Friends of Blue Mound State Park would like to Thank everyone who came to our Annual Candlelight Ski & Hike.  We would also like to give a special Thank You to The Nordic Ski Patrol for making this a safe and enjoyable time for all.  Also a special Thank You to the Mt. Horeb Relay for Life for providing delicious food for our hungry Skiers & Hikers.   What great Chili!!  Last but not least the Friends would like to extend a great big  Thank You to Al Swain<*dv_4*>, the park Naturalist for his informative guided hikes.                                                                            

The new 2006 Park Stickers and Trail Passes have arrived.  Go to the park to pick one up today!

The HHH will be able to use St. Ignatius kitchen for preparing the Viking Goulash for our event next June.  <*dv_3*>We can also store our goulash there until we need it.

The metal drag that we purchased for the park has arrived and the projector for Naturalist Al Swain has been ordered.  The drag will help with trail improvements, and the projector will be used for naturalist presentations.

The Friends would like to <*dv_5*>thank the members of WORBA for their considerate donation after this years 12 Hours of Blue Mound.  This year's 12 hour race was a good success and the event is already being planned for next year.  
The 2006 12 Hours of Blue Mound will take place on July 8th.
